Not often in life do we come across that rare individual who would literally take the shirt off of their back to help us, the one who puts asides their own wants and needs temporarily to check on ours, never forgets our birthdays, always listens to our grumblings and can always take a moment from their busy day to sit down and listen for a spell.
Once when my money was particularly tight and I was stressed about how to buy groceries she dug into her freezer and cupboards and pulled out groceries bagging them up and bringing them over without my even asking. One of my children had lost their home and come back with her children. I was wondering how I would feed them and us. She was my angel. She even brought over a tank of gas for the car. Friends like that do not grow on trees!
When I joined the writing community at Triond, she came in behind me to help and support. She has been the inspiration for many of my articles there. When I got enthusiastic about blogging she would often give me ideas or lend me her photos. When my camera broke, she went in on a new one for me. She is not rich. She is just generous and totally unselfish. She has made me rich by being my highly prized friend of a lifetime.

Jeannie gardens and shares her produce. She takes photos and shares the beauty. She is a nurse, junior chemist, florist, gardener, candy maker, caretaker, artist, and the list goes on. She has worked diligently and unselfishly with patients in hospice. When I met her, her heart was aching from her most recent hospice patient dying. Now a hospice nurse is like a soldier, they give and give disregarding the heart ache they endure as they care for others. They are totally committed and do an often thankless job. She came in to be interviewed for a position in retail as a cashier. Mind you, she was way overqualified but she needed time to restore her heart. I got to interview her and we began a wonderful journey of friendship.
Jeannie’s blog will showcase her love for nature, flowers, gardening, tractors and people. Please stop by and have a look at tractorgalsgalleria! You won’t be sorry!
